Context
The project focused on the financial exclusion and security challenges that shape daily life in Papua New Guinea, where much of the population operates outside the formal banking system. Real-time payments were tested with local businesses in Port Moresby.
The wallet was built from the shared design and engineering foundation Soramitsu developed across its CBDC portfolio. My role was design leadership and oversight: UX quality, brand coherence, and the visual communications around the pilot.
